GOREX 450 product dossier
Higher nominal hardness with the retained E-grade impact framework, for rising abrasion intensity where structural and fabrication demands remain material.
Read every value in its correct state
Specified describes a requirement in the pre-commercial delivery specification or signed order. Indicative describes guidance or agreement-dependent base-standard values. An order result exists only in the inspection document for an actual shipment.
Shipment-specific thickness, dimensions, mechanical values, chemistry and inspection scope are confirmed in the quotation and reported where applicable in the inspection document.
Actual mill, material grade, dimensions, tests and inspection document are confirmed for the order.
Surface hardness and thickness breakpoints
| Nominal thickness | Surface hardness |
|---|---|
| ≤ 80 mm | 420—480 HBW |
| Above 80—120 mm | 410—480 HBW |
Shipment-specific thickness, dimensions, mechanical values, chemistry and inspection scope are confirmed in the quotation and reported where applicable in the inspection document.
Centre hardness in the qualification plan
Centre hardness is optional in the base standard but mandatory in the GOREX qualification overlay. The specified interval is a requirement; the shipment's actual measurement is an order result.
| Measurement location | Range |
|---|---|
| Plate centre | 375—480 HBW |
Tensile, impact and CEV framework
| Property | Value |
|---|---|
| Rm | 1250 MPa |
| A50 | 8% |
Indicative The base-standard tensile strength and A50 apply only when agreed in the order.
| Nominal thickness | T | KV2 |
|---|---|---|
| ≤ 80 mm | -40 °C | ≥ 24 J |
| Above 80—120 mm | -40 °C | ≥ 21 J |
| Nominal thickness | CEV |
|---|---|
| ≤ 50 mm | ≤ 0.59% |
| Above 50—120 mm | ≤ 0.74% |
Processing from actual order data
Use actual inspection-document chemistry, combined thickness, selected heat input and a qualified workshop procedure. Generic parameters do not replace a WPS or process qualification.
IndicativeApplication fit
Evaluate as a balance point between abrasion level, impact loading, geometry and the workshop's qualified process.
IndicativeSelection questions
- Has abrasion intensity risen while impact loading or welded geometry cannot be simplified?
- Can the workshop control heat input, bending and edge preparation for the actual chemistry and thickness?
Inspection and traceability
Each released shipment is to include the original mill EN 10204 3.1 inspection document. Qualification shipments and critical orders follow the agreed inspection plan. Traceability links heat, plate, testing, document and delivery.
Prepare the technical dossier
Product documents for this pre-commercial revision are being prepared. The downloads hub shows document status; the quotation confirms the order's actual scope.
